Strictly speaking, you CANNOT juice during intermittent fasting as this will break the fast.
It doesn’t matter what type of juice either. Whether, vegetable juice, celery juice or fruit juices. The only thing you should be drinking during any strict fast is water, black coffee or herbal teas.
Anything with calories will take you out of the fasted state.
Some practitioners of intermittent fasting will prolong their fast by moving it into a new phase, by juicing. For example, you could fast for 12hrs, drinking nothing but water and then juice for the other 12hrs of the day. This is just one way to do it.
There are a number of ways to fast including, water fast, dry fasting, juice fasting, among others.
The effectiveness of your fast will depend on the type you undertake as well as the length of time you stay fasting.
