Did you know that drinking celery juice can help lower blood pressure? Neither did I until quite recently.
Well, according to a study conducted in 2013, celery seed extract has antihypertensive properties and can indeed help to reduce high blood pressure. During the experiment, 30 men and women took a small 7mg capsule of celery seed extract over a 6 week period. At the end of the time allotted, the participants were seen to have significantly lowered their blood pressure.
Celery contains a chemical compound called 3-n-butylphthalide which further research found could help reduce the buildup of fat within the arteries and increase artery wall elasticity.
High blood pressure is a silent killer. In most cases the fact that you have it goes unnoticed. If you do have symptoms they may include anxiety, palpitations, headaches, and nausea.

1 Inch Piece of Fresh Ginger
